Suspect runs; still at-large

A suspect who escaped the custody of a Holly Springs police officer last week remains at-large.

Chief Dwight Harris said suspect Kevin Antwon Richardson was picked up shortly before noon Thursday, Aug. 23, on a warrant and was being transported to the Marshall County Jail.

“Upon arrival at the jail, while in handcuffs, the suspect was being escorted to the entrance of the jail by an officer,” Harris said.

“When the officer briefly took his hands off the suspect to buzz him in, the suspect immediately took off running.”
