Suspect charged with commercial burglary

| On Thursday Nov. 23, at approximately 9:48 p.m., the Holly Springs Police Department was dispatched to Citi Trends at 277 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in reference to a burglar alarm. |
| Upon arrival, officers found a suspect hiding inside the rear of the store, according to chief Dwight Harris. |
| The suspect was identified as Marco Rooks, 32, of Holly Springs, he said. |
| Rooks was transported to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and after an investigation, Rooks was charged with one count of commercial burglary, Harris said. Bond was set at $25,000. |
