Supervisors say work needed on courthouse

A recent photo in The South Reporter, showing downtown fireworks above the courthouse clock face, brought comments from supervisor Ronnie Joe Bennett’s constituents. He said readers noted the structure was in need of painting.
The clock tower rises above the courthouse roof about 25 feet, he said, and it will be a job to get to it. Some wiring that supports Christmas lights needs to be taken down, too, he said.
