The Marshall County Board of Supervisors reconsidered zoning actions that denied permits to two men who manufacture ammo or sell guns over the Internet from their homes.
Zack Wilson, of Peachtree Road, applied for a permit to make ammunition to sell to groups such as law enforcement, but zoning denied the permit because of neighbors’ complaints about shooting. The shooting issue was resolved with neighbors afterward.
The lot is located in an R-E zoned neighborhood in a subdivision and Wilson’s request for a special exception to run the business out of his property was denied.
