Marshall County Tax Collector Betty Byrd recently filed an insolvency report with the board of supervisors.
There were 136 parcels of personal property coming to a total of $191,198.50 that were delinquent in the 2015 tax year. And 407 mobile homes with a total of $49,900.39 outstanding were insolvent in the year 2016.
Byrd asked the board of supervisors to file tax liens on these delinquent taxes.
The board approved filing the tax liens and to continue using First State Bank as the county depository.
