Supervisors lay out strategy on litter

The Marshall County Board of Supervisors honed its strategy on ways to control litter on roadsides and in ditches following a protest by citizens in District 5 at a recent meeting.

Supervisor George Zinn III broached the topic.

“We know we have an issue with littering,” he said, while introducing a representative from Mt. Peel Church.

The membership has offered to clean from Laws Hill Road to the church, setting an example for others who might do the same. The church also asked for an adopt-a-road sign.
