Summer reading

Children have enjoyed the annual summer reading program in June and July in the Marshall County Library System. (Top) Mitch Robinson teaches youngsters some tips about pollinators - bees, hummingbirds, butterflies, bats and other insects. He also presented a video that teaches litter damages the environment and hurts pollinators and other species. (Middle) Jaylen Hampton is taking in the presentation by Robinson on pollinators. (Above) Robert Patterson, who works in circulation at the library, designed this summer reading display – “Catch a Good Book for the Summer.” The always-successful program, held at libraries in Holly Springs, Byhalia and Potts Camp, wraps up next week.
