Shooting subject critical

A shooting at a residence in the 1000 block of Peyton Road is under investigation, according to Sheriff Kenny Dickerson.
The shooting, which took place between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 1, injured a white male subject, 44, who drove himself to the hospital, according to Maj. Kelly McMillen with the sheriff's department.
He said the injured subject was then transported by ground to the Regional One Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn., where he remains in critical condition.
No suspect has been charged in this incident, McMillen said.
