Sheriff’s department makes felony arrests

A case of domestic violence/ag gravated assault and a breaking and entering incident are both under investigation, according to sheriff Kenny Dickerson.

In November 2017 investigators with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department were called to investigate a complaint from a woman who said she was assaulted and choked. The suspect fled the scene and was on the lam until captured in March 2018 in San Bernardino, Calif.

Bennie Farrow, 27, of South Slayden Road, is being held in the Orange County, Calif., jail awaiting extradition to Marshall County where there is a warrant for his arrest on charges of domestic violence/aggravated assault, Dickerson said.
