Runoff November 29

Marshall Countians will return to the polls on Tuesday, Nov. 29, to vote in one, two or three races.

The only race on the ballot countywide is for Supreme Court Justice, District 3 (Northern) Position 1. In the runoff are Bobby Chamberlin and John Brady.

“All precincts in the county will have an election because the Supreme Court  Justice race will be on the ballot in every precinct,” said circuit clerk Lucy Carpenter.

A couple of local races will also be decided the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.

The two candidates in the runoff for Marshall County superintendent of education are Carrie Skelton and Lela Smith Hale. The county superintendent race will be on most ballots, with the exception of those voters living in the Holly Springs School District.
