Runoff election Nov. 24

One seat on the Marshall County School Board will be decided in a runoff election next Tuesday, Nov. 24.

On the ballot for the District 5 position will be Kerry Hale and Mary Houston.

Absentee voting is available at the Marshall County circuit clerk's office, which is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. It will also be open this Saturday, Nov. 21, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon for absentee voting. November 21 is the deadline to vote absentee in person.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. next Tuesday, Nov. 24. Voter ID is required.

Eligible voters are those who live in District 5, outside the Holly Springs School District.

There are no other runoff races in Marshall County.

Benton County There will also be a school board selection on the ballot in District 5 of Benton County next week. In the runoff Tuesday are Johnny Thompson and Tracy Clayton. Absentee voting is available at the Benton County circuit clerk's office, which is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. It will also be open this Saturday, Nov. 21, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon for absentee voting. November 21 is the deadline to vote absentee in person. Polls will be open, in District 5 only, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. next Tuesday, Nov. 24. Voter ID is required. There are no other runoff races in Benton County.
