Republican, Democratic primaries slated for next Tuesday

Next Tuesday, June 5, is an election day.

Republican and Demo­cratic primaries will be held for United States Senate and U.S. House of Represen­tatives, 1st Congressional District.

On the Republican ballot for U.S. senator, incumbent Roger Wicker is opposed by Richard Warren Boyanton.

Seeking the Democratic nomination in the race for U.S. senator are David Baria, Jensen Bohren, Jerone Garland, Victor G. Maurice Jr., Omeria Scott and Howard Sherman.
