Replacing mortar

Gus Sanchez, with Mid-South Specialties, puts new mortar between the bricks at the historic Water and Light Building on Falconer Avenue. The structure is being repaired and restored by the City of Holly Springs under a historic preservation grant. The renovation and restoration of the old water and light plant is supported by a community heritage preservation grant from the State of Mississippi through the Mississippi Department of Archives and History. Mills & Mills Architects has the contract for the project.
