Reception honors outgoing Potts Camp mayor

Outgoing Mayor Mary Houston was honored with a reception at the Potts Camp Town Hall Friday, July 21, from 6 to 7 p.m.
She was recognized by incoming Mayor Herbert Luther, who then recognized Sen. Bill Stone and Rep. Steve Massengill, who presented her with Senate Resolution No. 13 for her service to the town as the first female mayor of Potts Camp.
Many of her family members and friends, citizens of the town, board of aldermen members, town employees and others were on hand to honor her during this special occasion.
