Program helping dropouts

There is hope for high school dropouts who want to earn a diploma.

Jack Gadd and Wesley Bell are regional coordinators of the New Learning Resources Online (NLRO) program, a state, regionally and nationally accredited distance learning program with a straightforward delivery system anyone can use.

Marshall County School District Superintendent Lela Hale said eight or 10 of her students graduated from the program last year.

Bell and Gadd work for the Family Resource Center in Oxford. They explained how the free program works to help dropouts get free education classes online.
