Potts Camp man dies in accident on I-22

A Potts Camp man was killed in a three-vehicle accident Tuesday night, May 30, on Interstate 22.

The accident happened at approximately 10 p.m. in an area between the Holly Springs-Marshall Coun­ty Airport and Red Banks.

DeSoto County Coroner Jeff Pounders said he pronounced Kenneth Lee Work Jr., 38, dead after he was transported from the accident scene to Methodist Hospital in Olive Branch. He said the cause of death was multiple trauma.
