Pig scramble

The Benton County Fair was held September 9-11 at the Benton County Agri‑Center in Ashland. There were lots of fun activities for everyone. Above, children participate in the pig scramble. “We all had the best time ever since I’ve been on the fair board,” Laura Grubbs said. “We are meeting in October to make plans for next year. The fair board worked hard under the leadership of Heath Byrd and came together as a team to make it happen. We thank our supervisors, the Town of Ashland and all of our wonderful sponsors for making this the best Benton County Fair in a long time.
