Marshall fairgrounds talks go nowhere
A report by Marshall County Fairgrounds Association President Brad Hart failed to resolve an ongoing issue. The board of supervisors has asked Hart to turn over the deed to the property to Marshall County.
Instead, Hart reported on six or seven events since spring he said were substantial in size.
Fourth of July weekend drew 2,500 people and included about 100 races. He wants to make events larger.
He invited members of the board of supervisors to attend the December board meeting of the association and for the county to choose people it would like to serve on the association’s board.
