Marshall Academy begins phasing in one-to-one program

Marshall Academy is launching a one-to-one computer program, giving all students access to Chrome­books throughout the school day.

Headmaster Barrett Donahoe said goals include helping students comfortably use technology in today’s world and enhancing the teaching and learning process.

A Chromebook is a laptop unit that runs off Google’s web-based Chrome operating system.

Donahoe said the use of Chromebooks will boost communication and organization, and teachers will be able to draw from resources available through online programs.
