Light Up the Town in Byhalia

The 22nd annual Light Up the Town Lighting Contest was held December 12. The event is sponsored by the Byhalia Garden Club and Byhalia Area Chamber Main Street. The judges look for holiday decorations in the following categories – most creative, best overall and best windows/doors of residences and businesses.
The 2019 winners are (from top to bottom): West Wing Marine, 9093 Highway 178, for Best Overall Business; Erma Rogers Head Start Center, 241 Fuller Street for Best Window/Door; Ben Moore and Crystal Carroll, 67 School Street for Best Overall residence; Vickie Huey’s residence, 768 Stonewall, Most Creative.
Cash prizes and Light Up the Town winner signs to display were presented.
