The cemetery tour, which is part of the annual Tour of Historic Homes, is always a popular event. (Top photo) Susie Hill portrays Charlie Wells’ mother. It is one of the most famous monuments in Hill Crest because it features Charlie and his dog. (Bottom) Phillip Knecht portrays Spires Boling, master architect of Holly Springs who created Montrose, Walter Place, the Marshall County Courthouse and many others.
