Hale presents goals
Lela Hale, new superintendent of education, presented a summary of activities and goals before the Marshall County Board of Supervisors in December.
She has hit the ground running, she said of herself and her team. Some goals now being pursued by the county educators and board of trustees include attaining literacy in all subject areas, using a data-driven instruction cycle, and community outreach.
“We can’t do it alone. They say it takes a village, especially with the school district,” she said.
