Group wants out due to heavy truck traffic

A group of Matthew Lane and Jon Criss Road residents want a total buyout of their properties because they are now surrounded by big industries and heavy truck traffic.

Debra Kirk, a Matthew Lane resident, spoke to the board of supervisors about how to go about getting the subdivision residents out of the conundrum.

Their main concern is heavy truck traffic on Cayce Road near the intersection with Highway 72, which they believe creates a safety hazard and noise nuisance as well.
