Giving project successful

The sharing of food and toys in Holly Springs, an 18-wheeler load of goods, was a “huge success,” according to sheriff Kenny Dickerson.
The sheriff and his deputies and other helpers assisted with the logistics in the parking lot at the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department.
Dickerson said there were 1,000 to 1,100 people who turned out to receive Gifts of Love. The parking lot was filled and cars were parked up and down West Street, he said.
