Holly Springs Water, Sewer and Street Department employees investigate an infiltration of a sewer line at the intersection of Chulahoma Avenue and South Center Street. Later in the day the problem was located. A cracked storm water drain under South Center Street was the cause of the infiltration under the road. Workmen covered the area and will open it back up and replace the broken storm water drain before closing the area and patching the surface. Pictured are Terry Sims (on backhoe), Dalton Foster (in the hole) and Jimmie Harris (foreground). The leak was in a terra cotta sewer line that was being infiltrated with storm water and leaves.
