Festival to honor Junior Kimbrough

The descendants of the late Junior Kimbrough will hold the first festival honoring their forebears. The event is organized by his son Robert Kimbrough Sr. and is dubbed The Cotton-Patch Blues Festival.
The three-day event takes place May 12-14.
“My father (the late Junior Kimbrough) lived in this town and area and he paid a lot of tributes to the area and brought a lot of business,” Robert Kimbrough said. “We want to show appreciation for him.”
