Dickerson’s career highlighted in interview
Sheriff Kenny Dickerson recently participated in a weekly show aired on WKRA 92.7 FM.
Sandra Hodges, host of Weekly Flowers for Community Service, presented Dickerson with a list of questions regarding his life in law enforcement that spans over 45-plus years.
“You have to surround yourself with good people to be successful in law enforcement,” Dickerson said. “It is not just one. You have to be a communicator to work in law enforcement and have contacts throughout the United States.”
Dickerson is a graduate of the FBI Academy and was honored by former president Richard Nixon for bravery in saving the life of a Marshall County man who was trapped in his burning home.
