County supervisors discuss concerns brought by citizens

Supervisors often are called upon by their district constituents to help solve the public’s irritating situations. The board discusses these matters and does what it can to offer solutions. One example is complaints of litter on county roadsides and dumping.

Supervisor Ronnie Joe Bennett reported Vic Stilwell and his church have offered to pick up trash on the road around his church.

“I’d like to challenge all our churches to do this,” Bennett said.

He asked when signs would be available and where roll-off dumpsters will be located in Districts 4 and 5 for residents to pitch in large household items such as old mattresses and furniture.
