County school district honors retirees

Seven employees retiring from the Marshall County School District were recently honored at a meeting of the board of trustees.
Each provided a snapshot of their service with the county schools as superintendent Lela Hale presented them plaques of appreciation.
Velma Pegues, who served 26 and a half years with the district, said she has loved working with the children.
