County to bid garbage pickup

The Marshall County Board of Supervisors has ordered that an RFP (request for proposal) for household garbage pickup be issued.

The current contract with Waste Management Corp. will expire in June.

Supervisors and the county administrator were satisfied with service.

“They’ve done a wonderful job and everything is quiet,” said Larry Hall, county administrator, whose office deals with household garbage complaints. “That’s a wonderful thing.”
