County awards water project bid

Bids were opened during a recent Marshall County Board of Supervisors meeting to lay water service to Cooper Tire warehouse and other construction projects north of Highway 72 in the Chickasaw Trail Industrial Park.

The engineer’s estimates on the project was $294,305. It is part of a large project to provide utilities in the park.

Eubanks Construction was awarded the contract at a bid of $223,320. Other bids included White Construction, $276,280; Cleveland Con­struc­tion, $282,913; Argo Construction, $289,253; Ens­cor, $314,069; and Double S Incorporated, $375,989.
