Two denominations of counterfeit bills, $100 and $20, have been turning up in Holly Springs with the first big report on January 12, according to police chief Dwight Harris.
The first was reported at a party but several others were passed in restaurants, he said.
On the front of the bills in the upper right hand corner are the words “for motion picture use only,” Harris said.
“Businesses need to check their bills with a pen and alert police quickly,” the chief said.
