There were several errors in an article entitled “Dice game ends in fatal shooting” that appeared on page 16 in issue 33, dated August 15, in The South Reporter.
The game being played when the incident took place was a game of cards, according to investigators. The victim was age 50. It is uncertain whether any money was owed anyone present at the time of the incident, according to Sheriff Kenny Dickerson.
