Community supports arts camp

The Margaret M. Grow Youth Camp for the Arts remains an annual high watermark in the Byhalia area.

This year’s ninth annual camp, led by Faye Woods and Merideth Koch, drew lots of support from the community, as usual.

Rachael McFatridge led the pottery class, April Satcher taught watercolor, and Christal Simpson helped with the set design. Woods, president of Byhalia Area Arts Council, helped direct the Youth Visual Arts Exhibit - A World of Pure Imagination - again this year. Woods is a retired school teacher and has been working with the Byhalia public schools to lead the arts wave in Marshall County.
