David Fant and Lisa Liddy take a look at the facade at the Court Square Inn and The Apothecary building. Fant was in the downtown area last week with this lift to inspect several buildings. Liddy said capstones separated after a big freeze a few years ago and water was dripping through down to the front of The Apothecary. “There’s always repair on an old building, always,” Liddy said. Fant invited Liddy to ride the lift and take a close-up look at what is going on upstairs. Assisting with the lift operations on the ground was Nick Sanders, who is also applying some paint to “this ole building.”
