City opens bids on water/sewer relocation
Preparation is full-speed-ahead on relocating utilities for the Salem Bridge replacement project.
The City of Holly Springs opened bids in March for the relocation of water and sewer lines under the railroad at Salem Bridge. The rights-of-way are already being cleared at the approaches.
Bids came in at $355,201.61 from Buz Plasico Dozer Service; $396,777 from Enscor LLC; $512,418 from Eubanks Construction Company Inc.; $598,777 from W&T Contracting Corp.; and $608,800.95 from Colom Construction Co. The board of aldermen approved a motion to take the bids under advisement. Tim Roberts with Cook Coggins Engineers Inc., Tupelo, is handling the engineering work.
