Checking out the fire truck

Fire Safety Day was held at the W.T. Sims campus on West Valley Avenue Friday, Nov. 16. Ninety children visited the campus to learn fire safety rules and get a close-up, inside look at a fire truck. Students learned Stop, Drop, and Roll for putting out a fire on clothes, and their names, addresses, and specific information to provide to 911, and when a house is on fire, leave the house and do not go back in. Daniel Teel, fireman with the Holly Springs Fire Department, assists Sarenity Scales with a walk-through of a fire truck.
