Campbell stresses importance of backing up computers

If your computer or cell phone has not been hacked by a computer virus already, chances are it will be.

Steve Campbell, owner of Campbell Solutions in Oxford, recently spoke to the Holly Springs Rotary Club. He was the invited speaker of Dr. John Jones, who introduced Campbell. Jones made his acquaintance after his office was hit by a ransomware virus.

Jones said the remedy was not difficult because his computers were being backed up every day. He just had to pay for a reinstall.

Campbell is an engineer who been in computer work since the mid-’80s. After working for corporate businesses, he started his own company in Oxford where he got his start.
