• The Benton County Historical Courthouse is open Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. until noon. Visitors may browse the museum for a glimpse of times past. The Genealogical Library is a resource for family historians to research ancestors and their connections to Benton County. The courthouse is located on the square in Ashland and admission is free.
• Macedonia Baptist Church, 14910 Cathy Road, Byhalia, is accepting donations for the cemetery fund. To make a donation mail check to: Macedonia Baptist Church, 14910 Cathy Road, Byhalia, MS. 38611 or call 901-486-1875 for more information.
• The Benton County Board of Supervisors will offer for sale, Memorial Bricks for Veterans who have served our Country, or are currently serving. The Bricks will be installed in the Veterans Memorial Park, located directly behind the Courthouse. The cost of the bricks will be $50. Forms are available for pick up, in the Chancery Clerk’s Office, or by calling: 662-224-6300.
• Tune into 92.7 WKRA at 10 a.m. every second and fourth Sunday for the Greater Hope Church broadcast with Pastor Craig Williamson. The church is located at 1400 Highway 4 East in Holly Springs. Sunday school begins at 9 a.m. and worship service at 10 a.m.
• Landmark Temple Church, 1720 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Holly Springs, invites everyone to services each Sunday beginning at 9:30 a.m. and Bible Study on Thursdays at 7 p.m.
• Mt. Calvary Pentecostal Church, 3993 Cayce Road, Byhalia, invites everyone to worship services on Sundays at 2 p.m. Pastor Mark Watkins welcomes everyone.

• Two Night Encounter Revival will be held January 22-23 at 7 p.m., at Latter Rain Church. Guest speaker will be Pastor Darryl Conely. Host pastor is Joseph Selman. The church is located at 519 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr.
January 23
• Local artist, Patrick McGee will be at the Byhalia Public Library at 3:30 p.m., for a community art event. He will have a huge map of Byhalia on canvas. Each participant will contribute their artistic touch by painting the beloved landmarks of the town. This is a free event. Supplies will be provided. This event is sponsored by the Byhalia Area Arts Council (BAAC).
January 25
• Evangel Full Gospel Assembly of Holly Springs will have the Ezekiel Family as special group. Everyone is welcome. The singing begins at 6 p.m.
February 3
• Davis Temple Outreach Ministry will have their monthly food mobile at the Multi-Purpose Building, 235 N. Memphis Street in Holly Springs from 7-9 a.m. You must be on site to be served. For more information please contact, Bishop Robert Davis at 662-512-8514.
