Byhalia police respond to variety of calls

The Byhalia Police Department responded to 35 calls during the past week.

Chief Gary Looney released the following report – miscellaneous, 5; escorts, 3; thefts, 2; disturbances, 4; animals, 1; motor vehicle accidents, 3; assists, 1; fires, 1; burglaries, 1; medical, 10; vehicle thefts, 1; and alarm calls, 3.

Byhalia police officers also made five arrests last week, according to Chief Looney.
