The animal control ordinance for the Town of Byhalia was up for discussion again during the town meeting on May 16.
Leland Reed asked if the aldermen had any suggestions for the ordinance.
Mary Ann Cooper and Mike Hamblin had suggestions. No goats, sheep or pigs would be allowed within the city limits. Limited horses and cows would be allowed, requiring two acres for the first animal and a half acre for each additional animal.
Reed would put the updated items in writing and present them at the next meeting.
