Sixth grade students at Holly Springs Intermediate School listen to Tammy Gibson and Michael Twitty explain how slaves cooked and prepared food in the mid 1800s. Gibson, a historic interpreter and professional storyteller and Twitty, is a culinary historian. The event took place at the Hugh-Craft house in Holly Springs during Behind the Big House tour.
