Priority Ambulance, the new provider for Marshall and Benton counties, has changed its name to CareMed Inc., according to county administrator Larry Hall.
He said the name change does not affect the county’s contract with the company. MedStat, the previous provider for Marshall County, did not bid on the contract.
Hall said CareMed is working out how 911 will know where the ambulances are at any time. The company is just keeping a run sheet, he said.
