‘Awesome turnout’ for Relay For Life activities

The Marshall County Relay For Life, now in its 19th year, set a lofty goal of $73,000 this year.
Last year Marshall County raised $70,766.19, according to Vickie Duke, community development manager for the south region of the American Cancer Society.
The event, held at Sam Coopwood Park June 8, consisted of 21 teams, each raising money for the American Cancer Society.
