Students win in HOSA competition

Several Holly Springs Career and Technical Center students were winners in the 2025 HOSA Northern District Competition in November. They were able to go to the 2026 State Leadership Conference in Hattiesburg.

Angiya Zinn was a secondplace winner at the State Leadership Conference, and it makes her eligible to go to the International Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana, in June.

Winners in the district include Ariana Cowan, first, Biomedical Equipment Technician; Aleeya Milsap, fourth, Surgical Technologist; Aniyah Jones, sixth, Medical Law and Ethics; Hannah Manning, eighth, Nutrition; Ameliyah Washington, ninth, Medical Assisting; Angiya Zinn, ninth, Nutrition; and Jurnee Marion, ninth, Physical Therapy.

Health science instructor Kimberly Fox said she is extremely proud of all of the students.

HOSA’s mission is to empower HOSA-Future Health Professionals to become leaders in the global health community, through education, collaboration and experience.
