Holly Springs Junior High Honor Roll
Holly Springs Junior High School held its Honors Program for the first nine weeks on Tuesday, Nov. 5, recognizing those seventh and eighth graders on the “A Honor Roll” and the “A/B Honor Roll.”
Presiding over the program, held in the gymnasium, was counselor Shelia Fiddis. Students participating included Teyuana Reaves, welcome; Mariah Jones, Pledge of Allegiance; and Jaliyah Martin, school’s mission/vision statement. The Holly Springs Junior High School choir, under the direction of Charles Terry, presented a musical selection. Principal Tannya Sanders and assistant principal Laketia Petty presented the Honor Roll awards. Sanders complimented the students for their hard work, and Fiddis thanked the parents for their support.
Recognized for A Honor Roll, seventh and eighth grades, were Myyanna Howell, Takerra Oliver, Justin Garcia and (not pictured) Jamiya Yarbrough. Recognized for A/B Honor Roll, seventh grade, were Kirsten Aldridge, Richard Akins, Markel Harris, Madison Bowens, Justiss LeSueur, Rosie Brittenum, Kyler Jefferson, Jaliyah Norris, Rudianna Montgomery, Josiah Jones, Jaquan Powell, Angel Vaughn and (not pictured) Salina Hezam. Recognized for A/B Honor Roll, eighth grade, were Coreyuna Smart, Tyuana Reaves, Jadarius Powell, Daniya Jones, Airreo Johnson, Kayla Leverson, Jefferson Gutierrez, Kaelib Campbell and Jeremiah Jefferson.
