Willie Lee Chills
Willie Lee Chills, 46, of Blue
Mountain, died Jan. 23, 2008 at Tippah County Hospital. She was a
member of Wilson Chapel Church and a former cook for Tippah County
Schools.
Services were held at 1 p.m. on
Feb. 2
at Antioch MB Church in Blue Mountain. Elder Troy Starks officiated.
Burial was in Academy Cemetery in Blue Mountain. Serenity Funeral Home
of New Albany was in charge of arrangements.
She leaves her husband, Jerry
Chills;
three daughters, Shekellia Peterson of Tiplersville, Lillie Sharp of
Blue Mountain, Kimika McDonald of Ripley; her mother and stepfather,
Emma and Robert Ivy of Blue Mountain; six brothers, Jeff Erby, Steve
Erby, Jimmy Erby, Robert Erby Jr., all of Blue Mountain, James Triplett
of Falkner, Ron Triplett of Ripley; two sisters, Rosie Erby and Lisa
Mosley, both of Blue Mountain; six grandchildren; and a special friend,
Sis. Gladys Austin.
She was preceded in death by her
father, grandparents, a niece and a nephew.

Jeremy Lane Creasie
Jeremy Lane Creasie, infant, of
Ashland
died Jan. 30, 2008 at Baptist Women’s Hospital.

at Liberty Methodist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. Bro.
Kemp officiated. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of
arrangements.
He leaves his parents, Jackie
Creasie
and Lynn Waldon of Ashland; great-grandparents, Jerry and Mary
Holbrook, and Virginia Shaw, all of Ashland, Ina Faye Thomas of
Falkner; and grandparents, Becky Holbrook of Ashland, Joey and Vicky
Holbrook of Olive Branch, Steve Waldon of Pine Grove, Patricia Briscoe
of Falkner.
He was preceded in death by an

Betsie Lee (Boo) Jones Jeffries,
78, of
Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Holly Springs, died Jan. 23, 2008 at her
home. She was a church stewardess, member of Regina #67, Order of
Eastern Star, PHRA and a retired data processor with Union Planters
National Bank.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on
Feb. 2
at Mt. Pisgah CME Church in Memphis, where she was a member. Burial was
in New Park Cemetery in Memphis. Rev. John D. Pasley Jr. officiated.

Richard Lawrence Koetzle, 58, of
Panama
City Beach, Fla., died Feb. 2, 2008 in Potts Camp. He was a truck
driver.

He leaves his wife, Deborah Cuno
Koetzle; daughter, Lashelli Roen of Mason City, Iowa; two sons, Aaron
Koetzle of California, Mo., Scott Koetzle of Panama City, Fla.; a
brother, Roger Koetzle of Panama City Beach, Fla.; a sister, Roseanne
Moore of Louisville, Kan. and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a

Jerry Koetzle.
James W. Miller
James W. Miller, 84, of Mt.
Pleasant,
died Jan. 29, 2008 at Baptist Hospital in Oxford. He was a Baptist, a
machinist with International Harvester, a member of the Teamster Union
for 60 years and a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II.
A private family burial was held
at
West Tennessee Veterans’ Cemetery in Memphis, Tenn. Holly
Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves his wife, Mary Miller;
a
sister, Jean Burden of Memphis; five granddaughters, 12
great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Russell Moore
Russell Moore, 49, of Senatobia,
died
Jan. 24, 2008 in Coldwater. He was a supervisor with Chromecraft
Factory.
Services were held at 12 noon on
Feb. 2
at Springfield Baptist Church in Senatobia. Burial was in the church
cemetery. Rodgers Funeral Home in Coldwater was in charge of
arrangements.
He leaves his wife, Sherry Moore;

daughters, Bianca Moore of Senatobia, Rita Gardner of Chicago, Ill.;
three sons, Deon Moore, Tyson Allen, both of Senatobia, Kevin Gardner
of Chicago, Ill.; his father, Rudell Moore; two sisters, Mary Moore of
Senatobia, Joann Green of Chicago, Ill.; six brothers, James Moore, Ray
Moore, Ricky Moore, Frank Moore, Marshall Moore, Glenn Moore, all of
Senatobia; and seven grandchildren.
Susie Marion Payne
Susie Marion Payne, 84, of Holly
Springs, died Jan. 26, 2008 at Alliance HealthCare System in Holly
Springs. She was the widow of Jimmy Payne Sr. She was a member of
Hamilton Chapel CME Church in Waterford.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on
Feb. 2
at New Hope CME Church in Red Banks. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Malone of Oxford, Fannie Payne, Lena Payne, both of Holly Springs; five
sons, Willie Payne of Birmingham, Ala., Jimmie Lee Payne, Charlie
Payne, Joseph Marion, Isaac Marion, all of Holly Springs; a
stepdaughter, Magnolia Yance of Columbus, Ohio; two sisters, Henretta
Jones of Waterford, Daisy Marion of Memphis, Tenn.; a brother, Minter
Marion of Las Vegas, Nev.; 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by
daughters,
Mary Dade and Ruthie Payne.

Allen Renick, 54, of Hickory
Flat, died
Feb. 1, 2008 at Baptist Desoto Hospital in Southaven. He was a Baptist,
a truck driver with Blue Mountain Truck for 21 years and Cotton Plant
Transport for one year.

at Cornerstone Baptist Church. Burial was in Family Cemetery in Hickory
Flat. Bro. Jimmy William and Bro. Billy Thompson officiated. Holly

He leaves his mother, Mary Alice
Wakefield of Hickory Flat; a son, Christopher Renick of Hickory Flat; a
daughter, Samantha Potts of Hickory Flat; three sisters, Louise White
of Ripley, Linda Renick, Rhonda Ash, both of Hickory Flat; two
stepsisters, Jan Cox, Roanne Moore, both of Virginia; a stepbrother,
John Crisco of Yazoo City; his fiancee, Brenda Pitts of Ecru; and five
grandchildren.

Priscilla Wolf, 86, of Lamar,

1, 2008 at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo. She was the widow of
Phillip Wolf and a statistical secretary on Wall Street for 34 years.

Zelma B. Smith Young
Zelma B. Smith Young, 97, of
Holly
Springs, died Jan. 28, 2008 at Trinity Missions in Holly Springs. She
was a member of Waterford United Methodist Church and the widow of John
Russell Smith

Jan. 31
at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Waterford
Cemetery.
She leaves two sons, Raymond
Smith of
Olive Branch, Charles Smith of Waterford; three daughters, Loyce Cox of
Waterford, Hazel Westmoreland of Trenton, Tenn., Geneva Anderson of Red
Banks; a stepdaughter, Earnestine Barber; a stepson, Lanier Young; 16
grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; and four
great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a
grandson, Tony Smith.
