Vicki and Walter Webb traveled to Texas to spend the holiday with his sister and family.
Happy belated birthday wishes to Chad Brownlee, who celebrated last Tuesday.
Tanner Cook celebrated his birthday Tuesday.
Barbara Taylor and Melinda Skelton accompanied Elizabeth Skelton to New York recently. Elizabeth was chosen as an All Star cheerleader and performed Thursday in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade. While in New York, they participated in many exciting events and toured the sites.
Even the ice and freezing weather could not stop the ladies from Belles and Books from having their annual luncheon at the Kate Freeman Clark Art Gallery. All of the ladies had their tables decorated to the hilt. Vivian Smith dedicated her table to Sheila Burnett, the famed “Angel Lady.” Her original angels adorned the table with hints of purple and rosemary. Once again, Hedgefarm Candles were sold, which are always a hit.
Stewart’s Catering prepared the wonderful meal. It was topped off with a succulent slice of layered chocolate on chocolate cake drizzled with raspberry sauce and fresh berries.
A big thank you to all those who braved the weather to support the ladies of Belles and Books. Although blustery, the day went off without a hitch!
