• Homecoming Mt. Calvary Pentecostal Church, 3993 Cayce Road, a mile and a half south of Goodman Road, will have homecoming with lunch at 12 noon. Singing will follow at 1 p.m. with The Williams Family as featured group. Everyone is invited.

• Cayce community festival Sat., Oct. 4, 4884 Cayce Rd., Byhalia. Rain date, Oct. 11. Free and open to all. Come share in Cayce’s rich history. Medical/health advice and screenings will be offered, games, fashion and talent showcase, prizes, live entertainment and much more for adults and children. • FALL FESTIVAL Temperance Hill Baptist Church, 5114 Hwy. 178, is hosting a Christian Community Fall Festival, 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Parade line-up at 10:15 behind the Potts Camp School. At 12 noon on Saturday, October 11, parishioners of St. Joseph Catholic Church will join with similar groups all across the Americas in the nationwide 2008 Public Square Rosary Crusade Prayer for repentance, conversion and peace. The Public Square Rosary Rally commemorates the 91st anniversary of the 1917 Fatima apparition and the Miracle of the Dancing Sun.

A catfish dinner will follow the singing and a love offering will be taken with all proceeds going to the building fund.
