Spay/Neuter
Clinic now booking appointments for November
There’s
a nip in the air, the shadows have shifted and the quality of the light
has changed. Fall approaches and that means hunting season in
this
part of the country isn’t far away.
Years
ago one
avid hunter called the Spay/Neuter Clinic to make appointments for all
his female hunting dogs. In the course of the conversation he explained
that when hunting season arrived his females would invariably come into
heat, so his males wound up chasing dear, not deer. Leaving the females
at camp didn’t help; the males just went back to
camp. Spaying was
the only solution.
This
is a heads-up for all you
folks who want to use your dogs this year. The Spay/Neuter Clinic is
booking now for the first week in November. If you have females to fix
it’s none too soon to make arrangements.
For
an
appointment at the Humane Society sponsored, low-cost Spay/Neuter
Clinic call 662-252-6196. To find out about fostering,
adoptions or
anything else about our Humane Society, call 662-564-2900.
